HCH-3000E/E Echo-Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

Overview

The ultrasonic thickness gauge HCH-30000E/E can effectively penetrate coatings to measure the substrate thickness. This instrument is a new product independently developed by Kedian Company after six months of effort. The HCH-3000E/E adopts a brand-new technology integrating a single-chip microcomputer and CPLD comprehensive system, combining both pulse-echo mode and echo-echo mode into one intelligent ultrasonic thickness gauge. It features a lightweight and ergonomic one-handed operation design, providing a cost-effective measurement solution for rapid inspection applications where materials with suspected coated metal wall thinning need to be assessed.

II. Instrument Description:

1、Pulse-echo mode: Standard measurement for general thickness measurement. This mode has a wide thickness measurement range: 0.8—500mm (depending on the specific probe);

2、Echo-echo mode: Can penetrate coatings to directly measure the substrate thickness, saving time and cost by eliminating the need to remove coatings before measurement; Thickness measurement range: 3.3—20mm (E-E10 probe)

3、Indication accuracy: 0.01mm (for measurements <100mm), 0.1mm (for measurements >100mm)

4、Measurement error: (H is the measured thickness value) H＜10mm  ±0.05mm      

H≥10mm  ±（0.01+H/200）

5、Probe frequency: 2MHz-10MHz

6、Automatic sensitivity gain optimization, automatically adjusts sensitivity according to the working mode to obtain more accurate measurement results;

7、Minimum value scanning mode, 10 times per second, quickly measures and captures the minimum value;

8、Upper and lower limit alarm mode: Upper and lower alarm thresholds can be set, and an alarm signal is given when the measured thickness exceeds the threshold;

9、Difference mode: Compares the measured thickness with a set base value and displays the difference on the screen;

10、Data group management, divided into 6 groups in total, each group can store 100 data points. Users can select group numbers and data numbers as target storage addresses or to view measurement data according to their needs. Individual data points, an entire group of data, or all data can also be deleted.

11、Print output, communication with PC; measurement reports can be sent directly to a printer for output or transmitted to a computer for display;

12、Sound velocity range: 1000-9999m/s; the instrument has built-in sound velocities for various common materials for users to select directly;

13、Reverse sound velocity measurement: Can determine the sound velocity of a material based on its known thickness;

15、Display: 12864 dot matrix LCD (with backlight);

16、Storage method: Manual storage;

17、Shutdown mode can be set, backlight on or off; factory settings can be restored if the system malfunctions;
